The Nigerian commercial sex worker had been in detention before she committed the offence.
An Abuja Magistrates’ Court on Monday granted bail to a commercial sex worker, Mercy Deter, in the sum of N20, 000.
Ms. Deter, 22, of Daki Biyu Village, is standing trial before Magistrate Mohammed Zubairu for allegedly biting and causing hurt to a detainee while in police custody.
