Top Spanish football clubs Real Madrid and Barcelona are ranked as the top two richest football clubs in the World for 2012 by popular professional services Deloitte.
Madrid remains on top for the eighth consecutive year and are also the first team to break into the €500 million mark.
‘It is an impressive achievement for Real Madrid to have surpassed €500m in revenue in a single year. Real have led the way in the phenomenal rate of revenue growth achieved by the game’s top clubs,’ Dan Jones, partner in the Sports Business Group at Deloitte said.
The top 10 list features five English clubs, with Manchester United leading the pack in third position with €395.9m
