A dad had TWO miracle escapes after surviving the Boston Marathon bomb AND the Texas fertiliser factory blast.
Joe Berti had finished running the marathon just seconds before the huge explosions near the finish line on Monday.
He escaped unscathed - and so did his wife Amy and their friends who were just 10 yards away from the blast which killed 3 people.
Monday's bombings in Boston killed three people and left more than 180 wounded.
Amy and a friend were both hit by shrapnel but were relatively unhurt but a woman stood next to them had a leg torn off from the knee down.
Dad-of-two Joe said: "I had just run to the finish line and like 30 seconds later I heard the first explosion, and then turned around and saw the smoke.
"I knew immediately that it was a bomb ... Then the second explosion occurred, and I saw a wave of people running."
They left Boston the next day and returned home to Texas, with every hope of getting back to life as normal with their two girls, ages 8 and 11.
Joe was heading home from a meeting on Wednesday night when he saw black smoke up ahead to his left.
As he drove closer, he saw - and felt - his second explosion in two days while some of the debris landed on his car.
The blast in West, near Waco, killed at least five people and injured more than 160.
Amy said: "We are just praying for the people who were so much less fortunate than we were."
