The Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Commission in Ekiti State Mr. Rindom Kumven, in a related development, advised road users to follow the directive of the officials deployed to ensure free flow of traffic.
He said the road from Fajuyi-Okesa-Ojumose Junction to Stadium Road, would be dedicated specially for dignitaries that would attend the burial of the late deputy governor.
Also, the state government is constructing a Hero’s Park not far from Fajuyi Park where the late Olayinka would be buried.
The fence of the park was nearing completion on Tuesday as artisans continued to work all day to ensure the park was completed before Friday.
Meanwhile, a specially dedicated website for Olayinka has been hoisted.
The hoisting of the website, www.funmiolayinka.com, according to a statement by the planning committee for the burial is part of the activities for the state burial for Olayinka.
The website contains speeches and photographs of the late deputy governor as well as her biographies and her activities as deputy governor of the state between October 15, 2010 till she breath her last on April 6, 2013.
The website also contains tributes written by friends, colleagues and well wishers of the deceased.
