Lindsay Lohan has been dropped from an endorsement deal with clothing and lifestyle brand Odaingerous.
Lohan signed a $500,000 deal with the company, but the Mean Girls star’s legal troubles made them reconsider their offer.
“In light of the recent conviction of actress Lindsay Lohan, clothing and lifestyle brand Odaingerous is officially withdrawing its offer for an endorsement agreement of actress Lindsay Lohan as the face of the brand,” Odain Watson, creative director and CEO of Odaingerous, told Radar Online. “We wish her the best on her recovery and future pursuits.”
Odaingerous added that they are seeking “various talents,” including Miley Cyrus or Kristen Stewart.
“We held off on our upcoming promotional campaign due to the uncertainly of Ms. Lohan,” Watson said. “But have decided to move forward and will soon announce the name of the Odaingerous face and continue the world of living Odaingerously.”
The 26-year-old was ordered to spend 90 days in a rehab treatment facility after pleading no contest to charges related to a car crash in California last year. Lohan lied to police and said she wasn’t driving the Porsche involved in the crash on the Pacific Coast Highway. She was ordered to enter rehab no later than the middle of May. It is reported that she has chosen to spend the next three months at the Seafield Center in Westhampton Beach, New York.
This will be Lindsay Lohan’s sixth rehab stint in the last six years.
Veteran news anchor Tom Brokaw recently called the actress out, saying that she ruined the White House Correspondents’ Dinner last year. Lohan had been brought to the “Nerd Prom” as a guest of Fox News commentator Greta Van Susteren.
“The breaking point for me was Lindsay Lohan. She became a big star at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner,” Brokaw told Politico. “Give me a break.”
He added, “Why do we think to have a successful evening, you have to have Donald Trump as your guest of honor, for example, or Lindsay Lohan?”
