Universal Peace Federation and Youth Federation for World Peace on Sunday, January 20th, 2013 honoured 20 deserving Nigerians with Ambassador for Peace awards.
The event’s theme was ‘Quest for sustainable peace in Nigeria’, with Wazobia FM OAP, Yaw as compere for the evening.
The award was designed to honour and award Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in their chosen careers and have given back in their own little way to the development of the society.
Recipients included NET publisher Ayeni Adekunle, City People publisher Seye Kehinde, Complete Football publisher Sunny Obazu-Ojeagbase and music stars Sunny Neji and JMartins. Others are Stanley Okoronkwo,Linda Raphael, Halima Abubakar, Annie Inyang, Benita Nzeribe, Mary Uranta, Zaaki Azzay and Imelda Osuji.
The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) is a global network of individuals and organizations dedicated to building a world of peace centered on universal spiritual and moral values.
