Proving that time doesn’t change a person’s flamboyant nature, Elton John chose electric blue for his wardrobe when shopping in Beverly Hills with husband David Furnish no Saturday afternoon.
Wearing vibrant glasses with tinted lenses, Elton, 65, paired the specs with a navy suit, blue T-shirt and metallic lace up shoes.
Therefore it was no surprise that fans spotted him – and asked for a photo – as they both left the Yves Saint Laurent store on Rodeo Drive.He’s electric: Elton John wore some vibrant blue glasses on a shopping trip with husband David Furnish on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
The red-headed singer seemed to be in a buoyant mood, baring a wide gap-toothed grin for many a fan.
No doubt the promise of new clothes for a new year was behind his afternoon joy, as Elton is known for his love of spending.
The couple also visited the Barneys department store where it looked as though David, 50, had picked up a little something for himself.

It seemed to be a daddy/daddy day as their son Zachary wasn’t seen, but it did leave Elton and David to enjoy some adult time together.
In a month’s time Elton will be back in LA to perform at the MusiCare concert that is year paying tribute to Bruce Springsteen for his outstanding support and work for charity and music.
Elton has previously been a recipient of this prestigious title, which has also been awarded to Gloria Estefan, Phil Collins and Barbara Streisand.
Joining the Rocketman singer on the line up are Mumford & Sons, Neil young, Sting, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, John Legend and Tom Morello. Patti Smith, Jackson Browne, Alabama Shakes.
The special gig will be hosted by The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart on February 8th, two days before the Grammys. Elton will sing at a special MusiCare concert in February to recognise their Person of the Year, Bruce Springsteen, for his philanthropic work
