The various stakeholders comprising the newly formed All Progressive Congress (APC), will next week unveil the logo of the new party.
A source within one of the parties, Congress for Progressives Change (CPC) told LEADERSHIP that details of what the logo would look like is still being worked out by a select committee composed of representatives of all the fusing platforms.
The source, who pleaded anonymity, said the committee was on the verge of concluding its work and that the logo, would most likely be unveiled at an elaborate ceremonies at a yet to be determined location next week.
When asked what has been achieved so far by the new party, the source, who spoke to our correspondent in a telephone interview stated that, “We have set up a committee to design the logo of the new party.
“The committee has since started work and the work has reached an advanced stage and barring any unforeseen circumstance, the party’s logo will be unveiled next week for all Nigerians to see.”
On the admission of APGA into the new party, the source stated that the facilitators of APC told the delegation of APGA to go back home to seek the needed approval of all the members of APGA and come over with a written resolution mandating certain members to act on the party’s behalf in the negotiating team.
