Jonathan To Attend Africa-South America Summit

President Goodluck Jonathan will be attending the 3rdAfrica-South America Summit which will be taking place at Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.

Listed amongst the keynote speakers of the 3rd summit of heads of state and government of Africa and South America, the president will leave Abuja for Malabo, Equatorial Guinea tomorrow for the event which will take place on Friday the 22nd of February.
For other keynote speakers of the Summit which has the objective of promoting political and economic cooperation between the two continents, President Jonathan will be joined by the Presidents of Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea and former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria and Lula Da Silva of Brazil with the current Chairman of the African Union; Doctor Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
The President will also be making a stopover in Lagos to confer with former President Bill Clinton of the United States and visit the site of the Atlantic City Project before proceeding to Equatorial Guinea where he has also promised to meet with Nigerians in the Equatorial Guinea aside the summit, after which the President will return back to Abuja on Friday.President Jonathan will be accompanied to the Summit by the Minister of Transport, Alhaji Idris Umar, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Edem Duke and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Professor Viola Onwuliri.
