The Federal Government (FG) has sacked the director general of the Nigerian Law School, Tahir
Mamman, and his six deputies.
Although the FG offered no reasons for the sudden sack, sources in Abuja said it was based on the recommendation of the Nigeria’s Justice Minister, Mohammed Adoke.
It was gathered that President Jonathan approved the sack late Thursday.
However, Mamman will keep his post till a replacement is announced for his job and those of his deputies.
Unofficial sources in Mr. Adoke’s office said the recommendation was based on claims that Mr. Mamman had spent five years in office.
