A new Head of service will emerge tomorrow following the expiration of the tenure of Alhaji Isa
Bello Sani. In what looks like a valedictory session in his honour, before the federal executive council meeting president Goodluck Jonathan described the outgoing head of service as a man of honour whose tenure is expiring at a time the nation needed him most.
The president however charged him to be ready to contribute his wealth of experience anytime he is called upon to do so. In their own speeches the Ministers of Information Mr. Labaran Maku and that of Lands, Housing and Urban Development Ms Ama Pepple described Alhaji Bello as a man of few words whose contributions to council deliberations will be missed.
The council meeting also saw the swearing in of three new permanent secretaries in the federal civil service. They include Dr Habiba Lawal, Engr. John Chukwu and Missus Winifred Oyo-Ita. President Jonathan told them to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the reform programmes going on in the federal civil service.
