Following the reported spit altercation with his Calabasas neighbor, Justin Bieber might be in for some criminal prosecution. The “As Long As You Love Me” singer could likely face battery charges.
According to TMZ, the investigating officers of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department have handed the case over the L.A. District Attorney, who will review the case.
The Sheriff’s Dept. will reportedly recommend that criminal battery charges be filed against the crooner.
This will be in whisper form, however, since the case is still technically under investigation. But JB’s recent press-grabbing bouts with the law—speeding tickets, reckless driving, fights with photogs and drug use—will likely come into play in the case as well…
According to whatever source the gossip site is relying on for their info, the Sheriff’s Dept. feels Justin is on a “dangerous path” and he needs to seek out professional help for his tendency to become a rage cage.
As we previously reported, Justin has been accused of spitting on his neighbor, who asked the boy wonder to stop driving his new Ferrari around like an idiot in the early hours of the morning.
No segue whatsoever as we jump over to Will.i.am, who thinks Justin’s mom will help him through the hard times.
“It's dangerous to be a child star, but it's dangerous to be a child in the ghetto, or to be a child at school being bullied,” the recording artist tells the Daily Telegraph. “If you have good parents, you'll be all right. Justin's mom is great.”
