Men more upset by not having kids than women, study suggests
In contrast to the image of the old maid rendered bitter having withered on the vine, a U.K. study
by Keele University suggests that childless men experience more inner turmoil from not having kids than women. Almost as many men as women said they wanted kids (59 percent against 63 percent). Of those men who didn’t have any, half said they experienced isolation due to lack of progeny and 38 percent said it had made them depressed, while the figures for women were around half that. And we can understand why. What could be more tragic than missing the opportunity to embarrass your own kids with bad jokes and “funny” barbecue aprons? [Source]
