Richards’ Ferrari was zapped doing 51mph in a 40mph zone in the Manchester area last September. The Manchester City right back- though in absentia- will go on to admit two counts of failing to provide the identity of whoever the driver was. Richards’ ban makes him part of a trio of City players who will have to employ the services of a chauffeur, a relative, friend, girlfriend, or wife to drive them to Carrington or the Etihad stadium. The other two been Samir Nasri and Carlos Tevez.
