Yesterday Sunday 7th April 2013, Nigerian songstress Omawumi held her anticipated concert “Omawumi in Concert: The Lasso of Truth” at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Celebrities including DJ Caise, Sasha P, Praiz, Karen Igho, Joseph Benjamin, Kaylah, Mahmood Ali-Balogun, Essence, Anthony Monjaro, Lami Phillips and Yaw were in attendance.
Highlights of the show included a video display of Omawumi’s growing years (From her aspiring music career days till now) and loads of electrifying performances.
Omawumi performed “What a slam slam” with 2Face Idibia, “Warn Yourself” with Wizkid, “Bottom Belle” with the composer of the song and Bob Marley‘s “No Woman No Cry” with Tiwa Savage, Seyi Shay and Waje. Other performers of the night were Timaya, Mercy Chinwo and Onyeka Onwenu.Onwenu.
