BARACK Obama was sent a letter that contained 'poisonous ricin' which was intercepted by the FBI at a White House screen facility, it emerged today.The letter sent to the President was
interceped on a facility outside the main White House complex yesterday.
The American secret service said they were working closely with U.S Capitol Police in the investigation.
An FBI statement said: "The investigation into these letters remains ongoing, and more letters may still be received.
"There is no indication of a connection to the attack in Boston."
The shock development comes after two bombs were detonated at the Boston Marathon, killing three and injuring over 180 people.

Senator Claire McCaskill has said authorities have a suspect in mind in the Wicker case, though no one has been charged.
