This is coming as the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) declared that it is re-strategizing to combat the activities of pipeline vandals in the country.
Speaking to journalists after the annual meeting with senior officers in the Corps, the Commandant General; Dr. Ade Abolurin explained that the Corps is planning to improve the relationship with other security agencies for an efficient fight against vandalism in the country.
In 2012, Nigeria witnessed several pipeline vandalisation and Dr. Abolurin promised that the Corps will learn from the mistakes of last year and refocus for the new year.
The culprits arrested according to Itoko will be interrogated and handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
