Rihanna has been the victim of some foul play.
According to reports, a man was caught snooping around the "Stay" singer's Pacific Palisades home in what appears to be an attempted burglary. The man accused of the crime has been arrested.
A rep for the LAPD confirms the incident with Hollyscoop.
“There was a break-in at the residence,” the rep said. “The suspect was arrested on possible burglary charges. We do not know if the singer was home at the time of the incident.”
However, we can pretty much assert that Rihanna was nowhere near the house, because she was last spotted on a Hawaiian birthday getaway with Chris Brown via her Instagram and paparazzi photos.
Stories tracking the break-in incident seem to paint the picture of a creeper lurking around the prestigious Los Angeles neighborhood.
Neighbors reported the unidentified suspect to authorities and he was apprehended shortly after.
An update from TMZ claims that the man never entered Rihanna’s house but did enter the house next door. This new info seems to suggest that the man is a legit burglar and not just some overly enthusiastic fan with nothing better to do.
The celebrity gossip hounds also report that the man was emailed instructions on how to break into RiRi’s house. Apparently they forgot to include the correct address.
