There was tension in the popular Swali Market in Yenagoa on Thursday after armed operatives of the Joint Task Force codenamed Operation Pulo Shield, stormed the area to destroy depots used by distributors of adulterated petroleum products.
Our correspondent observed that over six wooden makeshift warehouses used by the illegal distributors to store their products were dismantled by the JTF.
Also 104 surface tanks and 112 drums containing different quantities of crudely refined Automated Gas Oil and other adulterated products were destroyed by the operatives.
