Everton boss David Moyes and Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen have been awarded the
Barclays Premier League Manager and Player of the Month awards respectively for March.
Vertonghen picks up the player award for the first time after scoring three goals for Tottenham during four matches. The Belgium centre half scored two goals against Liverpool and one against Swansea.
The 25-year-old has impressed since his £12m move from Ajax last summer, playing in a number of positions across the back four.But it has been his productivity at the other end of the pitch was has made him stand out during his debut season in England.
Everton boss Moyes, meanwhile, is the winner of the Manager of the Month award after steering his man to the maximum possible nine points from three matches, including a 2-0 win against Manchester City. His side also beat Reading 3-1 and Stoke City 1-0.
Everton's form has remained excellent despite the fact Moyes' future at Goodison Park remains uncertain after he put off talks over a new deal until the end of the season.
The 49-year-old Scot is keen to hear what Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04 have to offer as the German club prepare to appoint a new manager this summer.
